A week or so ago, Michael and I took a quick trip to Las Vegas and stayed at the JW Marriott Las Vegas. We seriously had SUCH a blast those 3 days so today I want to recap our trip and give you a review of the hotel!
Location
The JW Marriott is not located right on the strip, but this was actually so nice. It’s in a really nice part of Vegas and only 20 minutes from the strip…so, a really easy uber ride! We loved the location though because it wasn’t right in the middle of the Vegas craziness. It felt very private, peaceful, and luxurious! There’s still a casino at the bottom of the hotel though so you don’t have to uber to the strip if you don’t want to!
The grounds
Scallop swim top | Bottoms | Scallop sandals | Similar cover up | Straw hat
The hotel grounds at the JW Marriott Las Vegas were absolutely beautiful. It felt like you were on some kind of tropical retreat in another country! The grounds were HUGE, with tons of restaurants, a beautiful spa, and a super nice fitness center! [The spa actually offers spray tans, and I got one there and it was one of the best spray tans I’ve ever had!]
The pool
swim top | sunglasses | fringe earrings
The pool at the JW Marriot Las Vegas was an absolute DREAM. We spent at least 3 hours here each day. First of all, it was MASSIVE. There were a decent amount of people there, but the pool never felt crowded because of how big it was. It was also such a gorgeous pool, with tons of palm trees, and the waterfall pictured above. There was also a restaurant out by the pool so you could order lunch or drinks!
The food
Breakfast at Hawthorne Grill
There are several restaurants in the JW Marriott La Vegas, including a Starbucks, Japanese restaurant, Italian restaurant, and much more. We ate at Hawthorne Grill for dinner, and for breakfast both mornings because it was AMAZING. Their breakfast was so fresh and yummy and they have a huge selection on the menu. They also have a breakfast buffet option, which is what Michael did both mornings!
Like I mentioned above, you have the option to order lunch/drinks by the pool. I think we did this two of our days but weren’t super impressed with the food out there. It’s definitely convenient, so if you’re just wanting something quick and easy so you can stay outside…then it’s great. But, just wanted to give y’all a heads up, we didn’t think that food was anything spectacular!
The room
Our room here was MASSIVE and the bed was so comfortable! We also had a huge bathroom with an amazing jacuzzi tub. We had a gorgeous view of Vegas from our balcony, but the room stayed very quiet at night, which was nice. We also ordered room service for lunch one day and had great service with that.
Other Vegas things
Like I said, our trip was super quick so we didn’t get a chance to do a ton of things. But, we did go see Britney in concert (LOL, can’t say I would do that again, but it was an experience). We went to the strip both nights, walked around, saw the Bellagio fountains, and played some Craps! We also went to the Cosmo one night at had drinks at the Chandelier bar which was so pretty, and then had dinner at Beauty and Essex after – which I HIGHLY recommend! We ordered 4-5 small plates and legit loved everything we ordered.
This was my first trip to Las Vegas and I seriously thought it was such a blast! I definitely want to go back another time this summer! Have y’all been to Vegas?! Comment below with some of your favorite things to see/do there!
Thank you to JW Marriott Las Vegas for hosting our stay!
