Happy first Monday of October! Everyone probably says this every year, but this has for sure been the fastest year of my life. I can’t believe we are fully into the fall season already! Fall has always been my favorite season, but being from Texas…I am fully aware that the fall season is shorter (and warmer) in some places than others. So today I wanted to share a cozy + chic fall look from River Island that you could wear in 55 degree temps or 75!

I am obsessed with this neutral-colored oversized sweater for fall. I am super picky when it comes to sweaters – and i love that this one isn’t too bulky, and it’s not itchy at all! It looks adorable with jeans or leggings, and I paired mine with a black denim skirt because it was a warmer day in Boulder when we shot this!

Something I love about a good oversized sweater is that it can be a cozy piece to lounge in at home, or paired with the right accessories it can be super chic. Add some leopard booties and statement purse to your oversized sweater and you’re set for a date night or a night out!

I love browsing the River Island website for some fall inspo for my wardrobe! I love that they have super on-trend pieces but at really budget-friendly price points.
