It’s hard to believe we’ve lived in Boulder for almost a year now! One of my biggest fears with moving to Colorado from Dallas was the cold. I am the biggest wimp when it comes to cold weather! I think I’m tough in a lot of areas in life and have a high pain tolerance, but this is 100% not true when it comes to cold weather haha. I’ve been SO pleasantly surprised though by the winter here! So, for any of you guys who are thinking about moving to Colorado from somewhere warm…let me give you the lowdown about how amazing this weather is!PIN IT
We definitely get cold days and really cold mornings! There have been a few mornings where I’ve driven to the gym and it’s been 15 degrees outside. On most days though, the average temperature during winter in Boulder is 54 degrees! And we’ve also had alot of sunshine and 60 degree days in January where we’ve gone for a hike or I’ve run outside! I love the winter in Boulder because you get really beautiful snowfalls and get to wear really cute beanies like this one and cozy up in a warm cardigan, but you never have day after day after day of miserably cold. You might have a pretty cold day (high’s in the 30’s – that’s cold to me!), followed by a 60 degree day with sun! It really is the best of both worlds!PIN IT
For the most part throughout the winter in Boulder, I’ve been able to live in outfits like this one from Levi’s. Really cozy, budget-friendly, yet high quality jeans and sweaters that transition perfectly from day to night to travel! Levi’s has become a go-to for me because I’m obsessed with their jeans (how amazing is this pair I’m wearing here?! and they’re under $100!), and they also have the best basic tees and sweaters! One of the reasons I love Levi’s is because I work from home – so I want to get dressed and feel ready for the day, but still feel comfortable and casual. And Levi’s is so perfect for that! And right now you can get 30% off any Levi’s purchase with code 30VIP through the 26th! PIN IT
