If there are two things that I am obsessed with and try to incorporate into my life as much as possible…it’s being active, and traveling. The more I travel, the more I love the concept of being able to simplify my packing. ie: bring one pair of tennis shoes with me that work for cute airport outfits, and will also work for a 5 mile jog. You guys, I am pleased to say…I have found said shoe and they are AMAZING. The exact color I’m wearing in these photos will be released on 4/19, but the Nike website already has them available in tons of other colors!
So first thing’s first…this nike react shoe is just stunning. They look sleek yet athletic at the same time, and I’m personally obsessed with this lilac color. They are also super lightweight and extremely comfortable. I love the almost sock-like fit. The flyknit material conforms to the shape of your foot…so your foot feels hugged while still being able to breathe. These kicks look adorable with distressed denim like I’m wearing them here, or even a cute knit dress for running around town. And of course they’re also killer in the gym!
I don’t know about you but when I see a shoe that looks this good, I almost instantly assume it can’t be good for running. So I was thrilled when I read that the nike react shoe is actually a legit running shoe. I recently tried them out for myself and found they do amazing for distance running! They feel responsive and bouncy yet still super durable! For sizing info – I got my normal size 8…but if you like your shoes a little bit loose, I’d suggest going up a half size.
The Nike react shoe will make packing for trips so much easier, because you can just bring one shoe for running around town and the same shoe for your workouts! And you will get compliments both in the gym and on the streets in these. (Side note, they also make the Nike react shoe for men…and they would make an awesome gift for your man!). I love that these shoes are equally great for a long distance run as much as they are walking through airports all day. In either situation, your feet will be so happy with you and your outfit will look bomb at the same time.
