hello july! quick life update!

Okay y’all…I still cannot believe we are 5 days into JULY. Like I feel like New Year’s was a few minutes ago TBH. So today I just wanted to take a quick pause and update you guys on what we are up to in July and what kind of posts you can expect from me over the next month! (And of course, share this adorable madewell midi dress with y’all too).

So today we are actually leaving for the Bahamas for a little early babymoon! I think most people take their babymoon later in pregnancy but when an opportunity came up for us to go to the beach…we took it haha. So, make sure to follow along on instagram to see where we’re staying and how beautiful it is there! I am so looking forward to 4 days of laying on the beach, reading, soaking up the sun, and spending time with my love.

I’ve been in a really productive work zone lately which I love. But what that looks like is basically waking up at 6am and working non-stop until 8ish at night (with a workout in there and maybe a quick walk around the neighborhood). Things have been super busy (which is exciting and a good thing for work!), but I’m definitely looking forward to unplugging for a few days!

Other than the Bahamas, we don’t really have travel plans for July, because we have family coming to visit us for a lot of the month! My parents are coming for a week, and then my sister Katelyn and her hubs are coming to stay for a week! We are so excited to show them the house and just have some good family time!

July is one of (if not the) busiest months out of the year for me from a work standpoint becauuuseee….the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts in less than one week! (If you have the credit card and get early access to the sale!). Make sure you check out my blog post I did telling you everything you need to know about the sale!

So in July you can expect to see a lot of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blog posts from me. This is my absolute favorite shopping time of the entire year and I get SO excited for it. So I’ll be doing a lot of posts around that and helping you guys make the most out of that sale! I will also continue to do posts about beauty products and skincare, pregnancy (thinking about doing a post on eating and pregnancy this month!), and other home posts! So, you’ve got a lot of variety and fun posts to look forward to this month!

I wore this madewell midi dress to church on Sunday and knew the second I put it on that it would be a new favorite / regular for me (especially because I can wear it with my little bump!). It also comes in a striped version! I love the color and the pockets, and the tie waist makes it super flattering on any body type! I recently got these sole society sandals and I’m obsessed! They’re different than the normal type of sandals I pick out but I think they add such an effortless ‘cool’ factor to any outfit.
