Lauren’s July Favorites
Adidas flashback sneakers: Okay, I won’t go into too much detail about these because you’ve probably seen me post them or heard me talk about them 100 times in the last few weeks haha. But these have become my new go-to sneaker for ALL the things: walking beau, running errands, appointments, around the house, travel, etc. They are insanely comfortable and somehow make any outfit just look cool. I love that they are a classic sneaker that will never go out of style!
Quay sunglasses: Another thing you’ve probably seen me post a ton this month is Quay sunglasses (I have a few different pair that I’ve been repeating like crazy). The price point on these sunnies is TOO good and the quality is great! I love that these sunglasses are bold and make a statement, without being too over the top.
ALO long sleeve top: This might look like a basic long sleeve top to you, but don’t be deceived. It literally feels like wearing a blanket and looks SO cute with both workout leggings, or denim! And I may or may not have slept in it a few times because its so soft. It’s one of those shirts you’ll throw on when you’re getting on an airplane, or heading to a workout, or pretty much anything else you can think of!
Farmacy beauty ‘green clean’: I just started using this makeup meltaway cleansing balm a few nights ago and I’m already OBSESSED. It is so effective in removing all of your makeup and leaves your skin feeling so hydrated, clean, and fresh. It transforms from a balm to an oil so it’s not drying at all and will remove the most stubborn makeup or impurities. Convinced that every girl needs this as a part of her skincare routine.
Jouer lip gloss duo: If you’ve been on the hunt for the perfect nude/pink lip gloss that isn’t sticky and feels amazing…look no further. This set is also currently on sale so you can get both lip glosses for $22 total! I’ve been wearing these almost everyday since I bought them.
Steve Madden platform sandals: When I first ordered these online, I wasn’t 100% sure I’d keep them, because they’re a little bit out there (the platform, the elastic etc). The moment I tried them on I knew they were a new favorite for me. They are SO comfortable and somehow magically look adorable with EVERY outfit – whether you’re wearing denim shorts or a dress or a jumpsuit. You can also walk around in these for hours and hours and your feet won’t hurt. If you’ve been on the fence about these, trust me…as soon as you try them on, you’ll fall in love!
Martha’s July Favorites
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner: I have never been a fan of lip liner until I tried this one. I got the shade ‘Pillow Talk’ per Lauren’s recommendation and I love it! It goes on so smoothly and naturally, and it just makes your lips look fuller and more hydrated. I’m also more fair than Lauren so I think this is one of those shades that looks good on everyone! You can also buy the lip set on the Nsale, too.
Orgain Protein Shake: These are a complete and total obsession of mine. I’ll admit they weren’t a July purchase (I’ve been drinking them for months), but I wanted to give them a shout out here. They not only taste great, but they’re so filling and the ingredients are really clean (they’re made with plant-based protein). I love these on buys days when I don’t really have time to put a meal together but I don’t wanna get hangry, and they’re great for post-workout too!
‘New Morning Mercies’: I’ve been wanting this devotional for SO long and finally grabbed it this month. I love that it’s so saturated in Truth and that it’s just a quick daily read. There’s a devotional for every day of the year and they’re brief readings, but there’s always additional Scripture suggestions too. It’s provided so much encouragement and wisdom. I think this is such a great gift for a friend or spouse, too!
Oribe Curling Mousse: I have naturally wavy hair and it is so hard to find a good product that holds my curls without making my hair crunchy. This stuff is AMAZING! My favorite part is that not only does it leave your hair super soft, but your curls last for days! I’ll usually shower in the morning, scrunch my hair with this, and let it air dry. You can also diffuse it, but I usually am trying to avoid applying heat to my hair if I can!
Anastasia of Beverly Hills Contour + Highlighter Palette: This palette is everything – contour, highlighter, and I also use it as eyeshadow. It lasts forever and the shades are super natural looking. Super easy to travel with, too!
Lafco Candle: So Lauren actually gave me my first Lafco candle last fall, and I loved it so much that I didn’t even want to light it. It gave off the prettiest, subtle scent just by sitting in our room! I finally gave in and lit it, and now I light it almost every day. It lasts forever! Plus the clean, simple design makes them look so classic and perfect for home decor!
The Daily Edited Cosmetics Bag: I am obsessed with all things by TDE. Their leather is so gorgeous and high quality, and I love that you can monogram everything! It’s all so classic. This bag is perfect for a makeup bag, but since it’s slightly smaller, I actually keep it in my purse. It holds all my fave lip prodcuts and chapstick, and any other things I don’t want getting lost in my bag.
