Hellloooo 32 weeks! How crazy is it that I will only be doing 1 or 2 more of these bumpdate blog posts (depending on when baby sims arrives)?! I don’t have a ton of updates from my 28 week bumpdate post…but we’ve gotten a few things or had a few events I’m excited to share with y’all today!

The nursery is coming along and getting closer to being done! See this pic to see our progress so far and shop the things we’ve purchased. Still waiting for our rug to come in, bedding, and a few decor items! I also had my first baby shower this past weekend in Dallas! My sisters hosted it and it was perfect. So fun getting to see friends and family back home, and just be showered with love by all of them. I won’t be sharing my entire registry on here, but below are a few of the big things from my registry, in case you’re wondering what carrier we got, swaddles, etc!

A few weeks ago, I bought the book ‘Moms on Call‘ after SO many people recommended it to me! It basically breaks down everything you need to know about bringing a baby home, in really simple, easy to follow terms – bath time, breastfeeding, clipping their nails, etc. It’s been super helpful so far. It also talks a lot about scheduling and sleep training and so many of y’all told me you followed that book and it worked wonders on your baby!

Another update for this week is we started a childbirth class! It’s 4 weeks long and meets every Tuesday night. There are about 12 couples total in the class, and it’s been really helpful so far! Basically just telling you everything you need to know about giving birth, how to best prepare, medical interventions, and tons more info. I’ve found it really interesting and just soak up as much info as possible. If you’re expecting your first baby, I highly recommend taking a birthing class with your husband!

The lady teaching the class is a doula and we absolutely love her and are pretty sure we’ll be hiring her as our doula for when we go into labor! I’m just curious – did any of you guys use a doula? If so, was it a good experience? Would you recommend it?

September has been a super busy month because come October, I won’t be traveling anymore and we’ll just be waiting for baby girl to arrive. So, we’ve been to NYC, Boston, Dallas, and have two more trips before the month is over. It’s been so much fun and packed with all good things… but we are definitely ready to just be home for a while. As far as symptoms and how I’m feeling…overall I am still feeling great! 3rd trimester has definitely been my most challenging one so far. Sleeping is getting more difficult, I get out of breath easier, and more aches and pains. Nothing has been too hard though and I feel really lucky to have felt so great throughout this pregnancy.

Cravings are pretty consistent haha: fried pickles, watermelon, ice cream, dark chocolate…and really any type of dessert!

I’ve still been working out consistently (probably 5 days a week). I share my workout routine in previous bumpdate blog posts so check those out if you’re curious. I also shared the pregnancy fitness guide I’ve been following in this blog post

Lastly, I think we are 99.9% decided on baby’s name! We’ve told immediate family but are keeping it private other than that. I cannot WAIT to share with you guys though! People say these last 8 weeks will fly by and I hope they do! I cannot wait to meet this baby and start this new chapter of life. But, praying that the Lord helps me to be patient and just enjoy this season while it lasts!

I feel like there were other updates that occurred over the last 4 weeks but #pregnancybrain I can’t think of them haha. If I do though I’ll try to come back and edit this post with those updates (or make sure to include them in the 36 week bumpdate). Let me know if you guys have any specific questions! Also! This month I’ll start prepping my hospital bag so if you have any advice or must-haves for a hospital bag…please let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!
