Happy Nordstrom Sale day 1 (if you are an ‘icon’ cardholder)!! As you may have seen on stories, I packed my bags (and a few empty suitcases) to travel to Charlotte, NC shop the nsale early + hang out with my assistant! The crazy thing is it turns out that Nordstrom stores everywhere are having some inventory issues!? With that being said, this post is a little different than I thought it’d be, but just consider it part 1 of 2, of my top nsale fashion finds – including my wishlist and top sellers from last year that are now back in stock!

Like I mentioned, the nordstrom I shopped at didn’t have most of the items on my wishlist but they did have a few that I LOVE! So today I’m going to share a few of my nordstrom sale top picks for fashion!
nordstrom sale 2021 top picks: round 1
Flannel shirt

You guys know that I pretty much live in oversized flannels all fall and winter! I wear them with denim, leggings, sweats, over dresses etc. I love the oversized fit of this one and it’s SO soft. I’m wearing a size XS in this!
BLANKNYC Denim
Full price: $98.00 | Anniversary sale price: $54.90
These are one of my two top picks for denim from the sale and they are only $54.90!! I love the medium wash and the distressing and the distressed hem. They are great quality for a super reasonable price point and I love the straight leg fit. These fit TTS – I am wearing the size 25.
Vince Camuto Welland bootie
Full price: $149.95 | Anniversary sale price: $99.90
These are my #1 bootie pick from the sale! I love that they can be dressed up or down, and I love the pointed toe. The heel height is slightly taller than the VC booties from previous nordstrom sales, but still really comfortable!
AllSaints leather jacket

This was one of the splurge items on my wishlist this year and I love it SO MUCH. I bought this jacket in mauve a few years ago during the nsale and it’s one of my favorite things hanging my closet, period! I’ve been wanting the black for a while now, and considering its over $150 off, I decided to pull the trigger. The quality of Allsaints leather literally cannot be beat. It is soft and buttery yet has good structure all at the same time. This is a jacket you will have and wear for the rest of your life! If you’ve been in the market for a black leather jacket, this is a great time to invest. Heads up though! This jacket definitely runs small. I am usually a size 0-2 and I got this in a 4.
Rag & Bone Dre boyfriend jeans

So these jeans actually weren’t on my original wishlist but I saw them in store and loved the wash. Once I tried them on I fell in love with the relaxed fit and the NOT high waist haha. I love a good high waist jean but ALL of my jeans are high waisted and I like that these add some variety! They are a slim boyfriend jean so they aren’t too skinny but also aren’t too boyfriendy lol. I think I will be wearing them a ton this fall! I think these run a tad big. If you’re in between sizes, go down a size. (Wearing a size 25)
Madewell bobble cardigan

Not gonna lie…this was one of the only cardigans that really caught my eye this year! (Which is saying something bc I usually buy like 5 cardigans haha). I love the bobbles on the sleeves and the slightly shorter length than most cardigans. Cute with jeans or over dresses and will be one you’ll get tons of use out of this fall! The material is so soft too! Fit is TTS – wearing size XS.

There are A LOT of ‘shackets’ on the nsale this year! I tried nearly every single one on but this one was definitely my favorite! I love the color combo, the oversized fit, and how comfy it is! I love shackets in the fall and winter because you can wear them with leggings or denim, booties or sneakers…and they always look cute + cozy. I’m wearing a size XS for reference.
I actually already have the Thread & Supply shirt jacket that’s included in the sale and LOVE it too! Both of these shirt jackets are great options!

I LOVE that this is a faux leather jacket, a bomber, and hoodie all in one! The knit hood gives this jacket such a casual / cool vibe – like you could wear this over workout clothes or with denim. It’s so comfy and I couldn’t believe it was only $55 during the sale! This fits TTS – I’m wearing the XS.
Nordstrom Moonlight pajamas

These pajamas are something I buy every year during the sale because…under $50 for a quality pajama set is unreal! They are so buttery soft and lightweight, and also make for such a great gift! I definitely recommend buying a few and then giving to your mom / mother-in-law / girlfriend throughout the year! I’m wearing the size small!
A few activewear faves
Okay – i’m going to cover activewear extensively later this week BUT had to include just a few favorites for you guys in this post too!! Bc I am OBSESSED. See below for my activewear sneak peek!
This was my very first time to try out IVL Collective activewear and TBH…I didn’t have very high expectations! I thought it was going to be one of those brands that looked cute but didn’t feel / perform great. But you guys…I WAS SO WRONG. This brand is 100% a new activewear obsession for me and a dangerous one at that haha because it’s not cheap. But the fit and fabric and quality is AMAZING! I loved this matching set so much – both how it looks and how it feels. The sports bra actually has great support and the leggings are so flattering! I’m wearing a size 4 in top and bottom (which is the same size I wear at lululemon).
This beyond yoga crop tank is EVERYTHING. I want it in all the colors! Built in bra, incredibly soft and comfy, flattering, and perfect for any low impact workout! I love that you can wear it with leggings, sweatpants, or shorts!
These sweaty betty leggings are what I’m wearing in the first photo and probably my #1 favorite pair of leggings from the sale! They are incredibly flattering, great performance fabric, and only sale for only $54.90! These are the kind of leggings that one you buy them you’re like…where have you been all my life?!
I bought this barefoot dreams cardigan from the sale last year and have pretty much lived in it for a year straight haha. It’s legitimately the most comfortable cardigan you’ll ever own but I like that this one looks a little bit less bulky / frumpy than other BF dreams cardigans haha. you can wear it over pj’s, with leggings…literally you’ll want it wear it 24/7!
These adidas sneakers were SO comfy that I decided to buy in two colors! They are definitely in my top 3 sneaker picks from the nsale (on sale for $56.90). I personally wouldn’t work out in them but they’re great for going for walks, running errands, traveling, everyday etc! Heads up: they run a little big. I suggest going down a half size!
I fell in LOVE with these nike sweatpants the moment I saw them on the sale preview. I love the oversized fit, the high waist, and how dang soft they are (they’re fleece!)! I definitely plan on getting a second color when I shop at my Nordstrom in Dallas! I’m wearing the size XS for reference!

You cannot go wrong with anything barefoot dreams! During the Nordstrom Sale each year I typically grab a few barefoot dreams blankets to keep or gift because the discount is just that good. I am also a lifelong fan of this cozy barefoot dreams cardigan. It’s insanely soft and such great quality. Can be worn over pjs or layered with athleisure! [This is the same cardigan I’m wearing above over the beyond yoga tank].
I wear this nike crewneck sweatshirt literally every week! So comfy and I love the cropped length. Perfect to throw on after a workout or wear while working from home! ANYTIME i’m wearing this on stories I get so many DM’s asking about it! Definitely buy 1 or 2 colors because you will wear this all year long!
I also bought these same leggings in grey on the sale this year! They have like an airbrush look and feel to them – incredibly comfortable and flattering!
Picked up this ALLSAINTS simple striped top during the nsale last year and I am so in love with it! You guys were too because it sold out within a day last year (I think it might have been my #1 top selling item)! It’s super flattering and I love the drapey fit and wide neckline. Can be worn with denim or leggings! On sale for less than $50! The fit is oversized (I’m wearing the XS).
Once you wear this pajama set it will be all you ever want to sleep in! SO soft and it comes in a few different colors and prints. I love the leopard print set this year! On sale for only $30!
If ya’ll have been following me for a while then you know that I live in spanx faux leather leggings once fall weather hits! They are a wardrobe staple that will definitely give you your moneys worth. During the nsale they are over $30 off – only $65! My favorite / most worn everyday leggings, hands down!
This UGG robe is so warm and cozy to wear around the house, especially in the fall in winter. I’ve had mine for years + love putting it on the minute I get out of bed! I got the gray leopard last year, but the natural leopard print they have this year is so cute. Would make a great gift!
This GHD curling iron is my favorite of all time! Gives you the best round, beach waves that last all day. Such a great investment – over $60 off for the sale!
Another jacket that I wear on repeat during the fall and winter is this moto jacket. I love to layer mine over fitted sweaters or with a dress and booties! The one this year is the same price as the one I bought last year BUT this year it has a belt, which I love so much! It’s on sale for less than $100 during the sale – the caramel macchiato color is calling my name this year!
Every year during the Nordstrom Sale I look for a new pair of sneakers that I can wear for workouts or with athlesiure looks. I actually bought these Nikes for full price from the Nike store a few months ago and have been LOVING them! I was so excited to see them included in the sale because they’re insanely comfy and great for strength / HIIT workouts or walks!
Our car seat we use for Shiloh is included in the sale! Full price it’s $550 (yikes) so buying it on sale is definitely the way to go. We have LOVED this car seat so much – it’s super easy to install and move in and out of you need to, and so comfortable for shiloh.
