lyla is now 9 MONTHS OLD y’all! i cannot believe how quickly time is flying. and how badly i wish i could slow everything down. i did a q&a on stories recently and a lot of people asked about my newborn must-haves (which, i share a lot of in this post). so today i thought it would be fun to share all of the items we are loving for lyla right now at 9 months! and / or her favorite things!
this age with lyla has been SO fun. she is SO smiley and interactive and has such a big personality already! let me tell ya though this girl is BUSY! she does not like to sit still haha so i wanted to share some of our favorite toys that keep her entertained / other must-have items we use daily!

we tried so many different sippy cups and this is the one lyla seemed to figure out the fastest! i know every baby is different but shiloh actually preferred this one as well! it has a weighted straw and a lid that doesn't spill! i also like that it holds more liquid than most sippy cups so you don't have to refill your water quite as much (lyla drinks a TON of water!).

i heard from lyla's pediatrician as well as the baby led wean team that it's a good idea to introduce your baby to the allergen foods at a young age, to hopefully avoid a peanut allergy later in life. we started with these peanut butter puffs and lyla LOVES them. (not gonna lie, i actually do too lol). i have one in my purse at all times now - they come in handy at church, at restaurants, in the car etc!

another item i have in my bag at all times! we love these aveeno wipes for cleaning lyla off after meal times. we keep a stock of these in our kitchen for easy clean up after meal times and i also always have a bag in my purse. they are safe for sensitive baby skin and more effective than just using a paper towel!

this is the sleep sack we've used for lyla pretty much since day 1! they have another version for infants that can strap their arms down, but now that lyla is 9 months she sleeps with her arms out. it's a weighted sleep sack which helps baby to feel calm and get to sleep and stay asleep! not saying it's fully bc of the sleep sack but lyla sleeps 12hrs every night and i do think this has been a big contributing factor!

the best baby cream ever - for pretty much any problem. if your baby struggles with baby acne or dry skin or pretty much any rash...i swear this cream is a miracle worker!

the best bib that keeps baby (mostly lol) totally clean during meal time / snacks! i love that it catches food at the bottom, and its silicone so its really easy to wash off!
