happy wednesday friends! sharing a new 10 random things i’m loving post with you guys today! from beauty products to books to amazon finds, iced coffee drinks and more!
i shared this primer on my stories last week and SO many of y’all told me you bought it and are equally as obsessed! i feel like i do my makeup, love how it looks, and then a few hours later my face is super shiny. this primer has a mattifying affect and keeps your skin from looking super oily and shiny! but also doesn’t dry your skin out. GAME changer in my makeup routine! i put it on before foundation for a smooth, non-oily canvas. makes my makeup last so much longer without getting shiny!
two. elmhurst pistachio milk
okay next time you’re at sprouts or whole foods, look for elmhurst pistachio milk (or cashew milk or any of their other products really haha). i have been LOVING this in my coffee or cold brews at home! it has minimal (clean) ingredients but it’s SO creamy and delicious in coffee! michael even loves it too!
i’d heard SO many people rave about this body butter so i decided to give it a try and omg the HYPE IS REAL. it’s actually made with beef tallow which has SO many amazing benefits for your skin. (Tallow from grass-fed cows contains fat soluble Vitamins A, D, E and K and helps to retain moisture and repair skin with natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.)
it has this whipped texture that just feels like a DREAM every time i put it on after the shower. and the eucalyptus scent makes me feel like i’m at a spa! it’s become part of my evening ritual to put this all over my body before getting into bed at night!
i downloaded this app a few weeks ago and have been LOVING it. it’s an app that’s preloaded with a bunch of different frequencies (ie: anti-anxiety, focus, sleep etc). might sound ‘woo woo’ but here is so much science and evidence behind the effectiveness of listening to frequencies. i turn on the ‘focus’ frequency when i’m wanting to get deep work done, or when i’m having my quiet times in the morning. i’ve been turning on the sleep frequency at night, and the energy / high vibration frequency when i go on my morning walks. and i’ve REALLY noticed a difference in how these affect my mood / energy / sleep etc!
five. lululemon lightweight shorts
i’ve shared these shorts on my IG / tiktok multiple times now bc i’ve basically been LIVING in them! y’all probably know how picky i am about my shorts (especially shorts just for everyday life) and these check ALL my boxes in more. they are SO lightweight, have a built in liner, they’re not too long or too short, and have such a flattering fit! so far, i have them in two colors but i’ll probably be buying a third. lululemon tends to come out with new things i fall in love with, and then discontinues them haha so i want to have these forever!!
after i was targeted by IG ads multiple times, i finally caved and bought these jeans! and let me tell ya…they are worth EVERY 5 star review and more (they have around 1300 5 star reviews!). they are definitely a splurge but some of the softest, best fitting pair of jeans i have EVER tried on. they start off pretty snug, but then slightly relax/ adapt to your body shape. they’re the perfect light wash with just a little bit of distressing. straight leg fit without being too wide. definitely my new favorite pair of jeans! i got the 24 short and ended up exchanging to get the 24 regular just fyi! (i’m 5’7 for reference).
you guys know how obsessed / loyal am to my tarte purple tube mascara. it’s been my holy grail, ride or die for years now. i’ve tried hundreds of other mascaras and nothing compares.
UNTIL! i typed ‘mascara’ into the search bar on sephora’s website, hunting for the one with the most / highest reviews (yes, i am a nerd like that) and i discovered this one by benefit . when i went into the store to purchase it the sephora employee even said ‘oh this is SUCH a good mascara’. and i LOVE it so much! definitely rivals my love for the tarte mascara! it makes your lashes really fan out, and look SO long (and not clumpy). y’all have to try this out!
eight. minty gingham phone case
idk about you guys but i love changing out my phone case with the seasons haha. i got this minty gingham case for summer and it makes me so happy! anytime y’all see it on stories i always get so many DMs about it. i also put a pink octobuddy on the back and the combination is so cute and summery!
pretty sure i’ve shared this book with you guys no less than 50 times haha but if you haven’t bought it yet…do it! i bought it at the beginning of 2024 and have read a day almost every single day since then. the days are all really short but such an inspiring + grounding way to start your day! i feel like it’s really encouraged me to live in alignment with the best version of myself. to heal, to live free. and it’s such an easy habit to spend 5 minutes on each morning!
i was really hesitant to try the mixed metal jewelry trend but i got these earrings about a month ago and now i LOVE it! kind of gives a 90s vibe but still seems really classy to me. and just steps up your jewelry game a notch! sometimes trying out a new trend can add a new element of fun to your outfit, in the most simple way!
