Hi guys! In case you didn’t know already…Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday! If you’re still struggling to come up with thoughtful gift ideas, I wanted to share some Mother’s Day inspiration with ya’ll today.
Girls, let’s be real. Can you think of anything better than wine, chocolate, and a bubble bath? Whether you’re a mom or not – every girl loves her relaxation time, and all of the items pictured above are a recipe for the most epic bath/”me” time ever. These would all make great gifts for any girl friend, but I think these gifts are great Mother’s Day inspiration, because moms are constantly giving and focusing on others.
I don’t know about your mom, but I’m one of six kids, so I grew up with a mom who was constantly giving her time, energy, and everything in between to serving her kids and husband. Even now that all of us are grown, she still serves us with her whole heart and always puts us and our needs before her own. So, I encourage you this Mother’s Day to treat your mom to a little “me” time.
I am absolutely obsessed with this over the tub tray and it’s perfect for holding your wine glass, a great book, and anything else to make your bath as relaxing as possible. I love the idea of enjoying a glass of wine in the bath, but it’s less relaxing when you’re constantly having to reach out of the bath to set your glass down! This tray would make such a great gift – for your mom, or even to just #treatyourself!
Personally, I am a red wine girl and this Sterling Cab is one of my favorites to soak in the tub with. This particular wine is equally as great for pairing with an Italian meal, but I love it for bath/relaxation time because it has layers of red fruit, brown sugar, and black licorice that are joined by chocolatey tannins that melt into a long finish. It is truly heavenly!
I visited Sterling Vineyards last Fall (see my post about it here) and not only fell in love with their beautiful vineyards, but their wine as well. Whether your mom is a red or white girl, or maybe not much of a wine-drinker at all, I promise she will so appreciate any bottle from Sterling.
