Some of you might remember that a while ago I mentioned a London and Barcelona trip this fall…and that trip is finally here! My mom and I are leaving one week from today for London. We’ll be in London 3 days and Barcelona for 4 days. I’m one of 6 kids so I’ve never taken a trip with just me and my mom and I’m really excited! Michael will be joining us in Barcelona so I don’t have to be gone from him too long, which is nice too. (Are any other wives out there total babies about being away from their husbands?!)
So today I wanted to share my London and Barcelona packing list with y’all! TBH I obviously haven’t started packing a thing (my suitcase from California is still packed lol), but below I’ve rounded up some things that will definitely be in my suitcase! (You can click on each product to shop!)
Layers
The weather in London and Barcelona is supposed to be anywhere form 55-75 I think, so packing layers is key. Below are the long sleeve tees and lightweight sweaters I’ll be bringing (and they’re all super budget-friendly!)
Comfortable shoes
Obviously on any European trip you will be walking a TON so comfortable shoes can really make or break your trip. I’m bringing the below shoes for walking around and also going to dinner at night. I already own every single one of these can honestly say I know my feet will be happy all day in these!
Charging / power things
One question I get asked strangely often is what adapter I used on our trip to Italy. We have this adapter which is amazing, because it can also double as a power bank for your phone (like you can carry it in your purse during the day to charge your phone!). And it’s only $20! I will also be bringing this juice battery pack because it is THE BEST portable charger I’ve ever owned. My phone dies ALL the time when we’re traveling because I’m on it so much (maps, instagram stories, email, pictures, etc), and this portable charger charges my phone so fast, and the battery on it lasts forever. It can usually charge my phone at least 1.5x before it dies.
Bags
Finding the perfect travel bags is something I’m weirdly obsessed with. The best suitcase, tote for the airplane, crossbody bag for during the day, etc. So, below I’ve rounded up my favorite bags for traveling. (FYI Away suitcases are hands down my favorite luggage brand!).
I’ve never been to London or Barcelona so I would LOVE to hear your recommendations in the comments below! We already have our hotels booked, so we’re good there. But if you have any favorite restaurants, sites, etc, please share below!
