Merry Christmas friends! Can y’all believe December 25th is finally here? Throughout this holiday season we have shared tons of gift guides, outfit ideas, sales, and more. Today, I just want to share why this holiday is about so much more than gifts and lights to me, personally.
I celebrate Christmas because it is the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to this earth over 2,000 years ago in the form of a human, in order to save us from our sins. So that we might one day live with Him for all eternity! He is Emmanuel, God with us.
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon[a] his shoulder,
and his name shall be called[b]
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
