As girls, we all do it. We all get awkward when people compliment us or deny whatever the compliment is. Friend: “your hair looks gorgeous today!” Me: “oh my gosh no I haven’t washed it in days and it’s a rat’s nest.” I think when we do this, we think we’re coming across as humble. When in reality…it just makes said complimenter feel totally discredited and like her compliment meant nothing to us. Our denial of a compliment (no matter how big or small the compliment is) shows insecurity and a lack of appreciation for the kind words just spoken to us. We all know how powerful giving a compliment or encouraging words is, but what we might not realize is how powerful it is to truly accept a compliment!

I’ve been a huge fan of Kopari for a long time now. So when I heard about this “learn to accept a compliment” campaign they were doing, I was really excited to partake and help spread the word on this! I started using this coconut rose toner a month or so ago as a kind of refreshing / hydrating mist throughout the day – and it’s especially great for when you get off an airplane. In the last month or so I’ve been trying out this Kopari skincare line so I could share my review with you guys…and have fallen in love with it! They use the safest, cleanest ingredients. And the best part: their products work. This skincare line is super effective in giving you hydrated, glowing skin.
