5 new everyday beauty products

A few weeks ago I did a summer sephora haul for you guys and loved it so much, I’m thinking about making it a regular thing! y’all know how much I LOVE trying out new beauty products and I want to share the good ones with y’all as much as I can! Within the last month or so I have incorporated 5 new beauty products into my EVERYDAY skincare / makeup routine, which says A LOT for me. I try out tons of products but very few of them actually make it into my daily routine. So today I’m sharing these 5 amazing products with y’all!

1. Drunk Elephant make-up melting butter cleanser

I have tried at least 10 different cleansing balms throughout the past year or so, and this drunk elephant cleanser is hands down the best one I have EVER tried! Most makeup cleansing balms come with a little scoop so you don’t have to stick your hands in the jar (getting your dirt/oil in the jar)…but I ALWAYS lose those scoops! There’s no way I can keep the scoop with the jar 24/7. Drunk Elephant BRILLIANTLY made their scoop a magnet to the jar so you won’t ever lose it! AND if you’re traveling, the scoop will also magnet to the INSIDE of the lid. Seriously, I was shook when I saw this haha.

On top of the magnetic aspect that I love…this cleanser is SO GOOD at removing all of your makeup – liquid eyeliner, waterproof mascara, full coverage foundation, etc! I hate that feeling when you wash your face at night…but still have makeup everywhere. This product will remove ALL of your makeup, without stripping your face of its natural oils, so it won’t dry your face out. It transforms from oil to milk on your face, to cleanse, moisturize and leave behind a beautiful dewy glow.

When I use this cleanser at night, I don’t need to double cleanse. It’s the only cleanser I use when I’m wearing makeup and it feels so heavenly!

Another reason why I love this is because it comes with a tiny thing of “bamboo booster”, which is a natural exfoliant. You can apply a few shakes of the bamboo booster into your hand to mix with the cleanser for an amazing exfoliating treatment. I use this 1-2 times a week!

2. Fresh Sugar strawberry exfoliating wash

Are you guys tired of hearing me rave about Fresh yet?! Lol I am OBSESSED with so many of their skincare products! I first started using this exfoliating wash beginning of the summer and have been hooked ever sense! This exfoliator has a blend of white sugar crystals which will help smooth and soften your skin’s appearance, but it also has grapeseed oil in it so it’s an exfoliator that won’t dry your skin out! I use this cleanser probably 3-4 mornings a week and feel like it leaves my skin feeling so soft and glowy!

3. Laneige lip glowy balm

I got this lip glowy balm a few months back and have been wearing it all summer long. I bought it in two colors (berry and grapefruit) and have it with me 24/7! It’s the perfect lip balm to wear on days you don’t really wear makeup, but still want your lips to have a little color. I’ll also put it on when I’m heading into a workout class, or if my lips ever feel dry! It’s extremely hydrating and has just a subtle tint to it! This is definitely going to be a product I continue to stock up on!

4. Drunk Elephant lala whipped moisturizer

If you read my drunk elephant skincare routine blog post a few months back, you know i’ve been a die hard “protini” fan from their line. (They have two moisturizers in their line – protini, and lala, and I’d ALWAYS just used protini before). Drunk Elephant recently reformulated lala to now have ceramides in it, so I decided to give it a try and I am HOOKED. If you’re really interested in skincare like I am, I’ll share WHY ceramides have made lala so much better! (From Drunk Elephant’s website:) “Ceramides help form a protective layer that locks in hydration, helps maintain balance and protects against visible damage from environmental stressors. By giving them back to skin, we are feeding the surface barrier what it needs to protect itself and thrive.” I’ve been using this moisturizer every night as the last step in my skincare routine and my skin looks and feels so hydrated and fresh.

5. Charlotte Tilbury bronze & glow contour duo

This product is one I tried out years ago but kind of forgot about until this summer when I pulled it back out of my drawer and now I am OBSESSED and never do my makeup without it! One of the reasons I love this duo so much is it makes traveling super easy – you don’t have to bring a bronzer and a highlighter and a contour palette etc. This is all of those things in one travel friendly compact. Several of you guys have been asking about my makeup recently and how my skin looks so glowy…and I definitely think it’s this palette!

I use the bronze side to kind of “sculpt” (I don’t like to do any intense contouring haha). So I put it below my cheek bone, kind of up by my ear, and then frame the top of my forehead with it, and also put some along my jaw line. Then, I use this same brush to do the highlight. I apply on the high of my cheeks, and a little bit on the bridge of my nose. It is SO easy to use and gives you the most natural, beautiful glow!

This brush is another item I purchased a few months ago and highly recommend! I love finding brushes that can accomplish multiple purposes, and I can use this one for bronzer, highlight, AND blush! It blends everything perfectly!
