With summer in full swing, one of the most important parts of my daily skincare routine is hands down, sunscreen. Honestly, you’re supposed to wear sunscreen all year round (literally everyday!). It’s one of the best things you can do to protect your skin and prevent signs of aging. I seriously can’t emphasize this enough! Even if you’re not up to investing into a full skincare routine with 10 steps, the one step you absolutely need to have in your regimen is a good daily SPF. Even though sunscreen is necessary year round, I feel like lately with all of our hikes and beach trips, sunscreen use has definitely increased for our whole family. Today I’m excited to share my absolute favorite products for sun protection, including the ones I use on Shiloh! These are products I’ve been using for a while now and could not be more genuinely excited to recommend to y’all.

As y’all probably already know, I’m a little obsessed with skincare and pretty much all beauty products. I can seriously wander down a blackhole when it comes to researching products because I’m really picky about what goes on my skin. Plus, it’s just so fascinating to learn about the ingredients and what they’re really doing for your skin! This seriously went to a whole other level when I had Shiloh and started looking into baby products. Now that Shiloh’s a little older and spending more time in the sun, I knew I really wanted to find the perfect, sale sunscreen for her that I would bring with us everywhere. I can honestly say this Supergoop! sunscreen is just that. This ‘Sunnyscreen’ is the only sunscreen I’ll use on Shiloh and has definitely become a diaper bag staple for us these last couple of months. It’s super easy to apply (even on a wiggly baby!) and has SPF 50. I have total peace of mind using it on Shiloh because not only is it pediatrician tested, but Supergoop! doesn’t use any fragrances or silicone in this product. All of Supergoop!’s products are really clean, which is definitely a huge priority for me when it comes to picking products for Shiloh (and myself!). It comes in a stick form, but they also have a lotion and spray too. I honestly love both and the combo makes it easy to put on her whole body + face.

Supergoop! isn’t just the sunscreen I use on Shiloh, but it’s also what I use myself! I have a few favorite sun protection products from them that I had to share with y’all today. First off, this Unseen Sunscreen is absolutely an everyday necessity for me. I literally always have it in my purse! The sun is extra intense in Colorado, so this sunscreen is definitely necessary for me. During this time of year, we spend a lot of time outside. Whether it’s going on walks around the neighborhood, taking the fam for a hike, or just making a trip to the farmer’s market, all of that time in the sun means I am usually reapplying my sunscreen several times throughout the day.

Also, I don’t now about y’all but I have tried SO many sunscreens and absolutely hated them. Some are super greasy, others don’t provide any real protection, and some are just landed up with terrible ingredients. I feel like that’s another thing I absolutely LOVE about Supergoop!’s products. This Unseen Sunscreen is totally weightless and feels amazing on your skin. It works really well as a makeup primer too, giving your skin the prettiest subtle glow!

This summer I also started using this Glow Stick Sunscreen. It’s super easy to just grab and roll on for a little extra coverage. It has SPF 50 and is the perfect size for just carrying in your purse or beach bag. I love it because it’s so hydrating and feels super refreshing on your skin, especially after you’ve been in the sun for a while. I’ll usually throw it on my shoulders and chest, and it’s great for the face too. Bonus: it gives your skin such a pretty glow!

I can honestly say I’ve sent tons of time researching and trying different sunscreens for both Shiloh and me, and nothing out there is better than Supergoop!.
