The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is less than one month away, and I wanted to put together a post where you could get the 411 on everything from when it is, what it is, and why it’s literally the BEST sale of all time! Throughout this post I’m sharing some of my all time favorite items I got during the 2019 anniversary sale as a little preview of what’s to come!
What exactly is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the BIGGEST and best sale of the year! This is the time when Nordstrom gives you the chance to stock your closet with all of your favorite fall items at incredibly discounted prices. Not only do you get a head start on fall, but you can also find your timeless favorites at a huge discount! I love this sale for stocking up on new styles for autumn, beauty products I’m obsessed with, date night looks, shoes I’m loving and more. (The pictures you’re seeing in this post are some of my favorite purchases from last year’s nordstrom sale!)
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
First things first, when you become a Nordy Club member you get access to the Nordstrom Sale early! That means that before the shelves have been swept, you can grab your favorites – including all of the items I will be sharing on my blog and Instagram!
Early access starts August 13th, and then the sale opens up to everyone from August 19th through the 30th. The best part is, if you can’t make it to the store you can shop online – which is super important for those of you that are remaining cautious during COVID!
How do I become a Nordy Club Member?
It’s SO simple and so worth it to become a Nordy Club Member! All you have to do is sign up for a Nordstrom credit card! When you use your Nordstrom Card in stores or online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, HauteLook and Trunk Club you get 3 times the points! These points can eventually be exchanged for Nordy Notes which is basically like cash back! It’s an amazing deal.
How do I know what to shop for during the sale?
I have to admit, this anticipation for this sale can feel like Christmas morning and it can be very overwhelming, but don’t stress! This year Nordstrom is going above and beyond to let their shoppers prepare for the sale by previewing ALL of the items starting on July 24th! No more catalog flipping, you can scroll online right from your phone or laptop!
I’m going to be saving all of my favorites to my wishlist so that I don’t miss anything when my adrenaline is pumping as the sale starts. I would definitely recommend creating a wishlist for yourself!

One of the most AMAZING things about Nordstrom is their customer service! They always go above and beyond to take care of their customers, and the Anniversary Sale is no different! If you order something online and it doesn’t fit, you can always return it online or in store!
What if I miss something that I wanted?
If you miss something, don’t sweat it! You can sign up for emails from Nordstrom so that you stay in the know with all things Anniversary Sale related! I will also be sharing on my instagram stories when items get restocked!
Phew, I know that is a lot of info, but I don’t want ya’ll to miss out! This is my favorite sale of the YEAR and I am already counting down the days until I can fill my cart with some fresh finds. It is so fun to stock up on all of the trendy fall items and spend WAY less money building out my wardrobe for autumn!
One of the best things about this sale is that when the cooler weather arrives, I don’t see friends or other influencers wearing items I wish I had – I already have them hanging in my closet! Also… who doesn’t love to restock classic accessories and beauty products? I know I do!
