Merry Christmas Eve friends! Michael and I are celebrating Christmas tomorrow morning with just the 3 of us (me, Michael and Shiloh), in our home, and then having breakfast with Michael’s parents…and then driving out to the lake to spend the rest of the weekend with my family! So before we all take off for the rest of the weekend, wanted to share a few things with y’all today.
We shot some last minute Christmas photos I wanted to share with you guys today, as well as say THANK YOU and chat about the real reason for this entire Christmas season.
I can’t believe 2020 has almost come and gone already. Every single year (every single day really) I am so blown away by y’alls constant support of me and this blog. But 2020, more than ever, I am so so thankful that you choose to follow along with my blog, my everyday life, my story…the ups and the downs. There’s nothing I love more than randomly meeting one of you guys in person and hearing stories about how this space has encouraged your life in some way. I love what I do and I am so beyond thankful to have my dream job…and all of that is because of YOU guys. I can truly never put into words how thankful I am for all of your support and kindness.
I hope this holiday season I maybe made your shopping a little bit easier + more fun + helped you find gifts your friends or family will truly love! We shared lots of gift guides and outfit inspo and wrapping essentials and more. Christmas really is the most magical time of year…but for a reason that is so much more special than shopping or gifts.
I pray my heart never grows numb to the magnificence of God’s love for me. That He sent His only Son to be born, the most lowly, humble birth on earth….so that He would one day die on a cross to pay for my sins, so I could not only live with him forever, but also walk in relationship with him every single day here on earth.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”– Luke 2
I am so thankful for my little family, for each one of you guys who choose to come to this blog or my instagram everyday, and most of all…for Jesus coming to this world to save us from our sin, because he loves each one of us more than our brains will ever fathom. We have so much to celebrate today.
Merry Christmas friends!
