most of you guys know by now that we bought a lakehouse last spring and have been in the process of furnishing + decorating ever since! we finally finished shiloh’s bedroom and i LOVE how it turned out, so i wanted to share all the details with you guys today!
i worked with the pottery barn kids design team to create this cozy space for shiloh and we had the best experience. did y’all know you can work with the pottery barn design team for FREE to help you decorate your space? i had no idea this was a service they offered until this year and it was SO insanely helpful (and fun)! you can work with them online or in store and they can help you design your space – whether it’s an entire room or just a corner you’re having trouble with!
i met with the pb kids design team and described the space to them, told them my vision for shiloh’s room, and then they pretty much took it from there! i told them i wanted it to feel like a cozy cabin, and girly but not TOO girly and they nailed this look! after i described the space and my vision to them, the design team put together mood boards / product pairings and it made the process of decorating her room SO seamless!

this quilt is probably my favorite part of shiloh's room! i love that it has this cozy rustic vibe while still being feminine. i love that it's not too little girly so she will have this for years to come. i honestly loved it so much i wanted to get one for my own bedroom haha!
the pb kids design team picked out this forest wallpaper to do on the wall behind shiloh's bed and i think it's so perfect for a lakehouse! it really completes the cozy rustic look of the room, and it's neutral enough that you can pair anything with it!
shiloh is OBSESSED with this little bean bag the design team selected for her room! she will grab a book in the morning or turn on her tonie box, plop down and read a book or listen to a story in her own little bean bag. so sweet!
we also worked with pottery barn kids to furnish the bunk room at the lakehouse! i have a HUGE family so we knew we wanted to do double bunks for when all the cousins come out! i love the mix and match bedding they selected as well to keep it gender neutral / works for both boys and girls.
i knew we wanted these bunk beds because i LOVED the stairs vs a ladder! i think it's a lot safer than a ladder so it puts my mind at ease when the kids are playing in there. i also loved that it had the option to do a full bed on the bottom so an adult could sleep in there if they need to! or you can sleep more kids haha. the quality of these bunk beds is amazing and i love how they look in the space!
i think the mix & match buffalo comforters are PERFECT for a bunk room! this bedding is so cozy and i love the lakehouse vibe they add to the whole room!
i’m so glad we got to work with the pottery barn kids design team to furnish + decorate both of these spaces! they were so helpful and truly helped my vision come to life!
