black muscle tank | fringe fighter headband | insculpt grey vest | ‘all the right places’ crop (also come in a pant version) | sports bra

For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know I’m an avid runner. I love to work out and stay active, and running will always be my number 1 activity of choice, and this is my FAVORITE time of year to run!

The temperatures have finally started dropping a little in Dallas, so it’s no longer shorts and a tank type of running weather. If you’re new to running or trying to get more into it, having the right clothes for it is key. Today I want to share with y’all how I transition my athletic wear to cooler temperatures!

Lululemon is my one-stop shop for all things fitness…whether it’s for yoga, running, or spin class. Especially now that it’s getting cooler, I’m OBSESSED with the Lululemon fall collection. Hello perfect layers.

Dallas typically doesn’t get crazy cold in the fall, but layers are definitely still necessary! When the weather cools off I prefer to run in leggings as opposed to shorts, but finding good quality, breathable leggings is no easy task. I LOVE this pair that I’m wearing above because they legit hold you in in ‘all the right places’ and keep you warmer than shorts, but they’re also SUPER breathable so you don’t get too hot! I wear these crops both for running and for Flywheel. A few other Lululemon tights I love for running or intense cardio:

And this vest is one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever purchased for running. It’s perfect to wear over a tee or tank top right now, and once winter comes…it will be perfect over long sleeve running tops! A few other cold-weather running pieces I’m loving:

So in case you’ve previously been terrified of running in the cold…try out some of these Lululemon fall layers and I promise, running in cooler temps is SO doable slash amazing! I’m planning on running the Dallas half in December in pieces I’ve included in this post and I’ll be honest…the outfit is one of my biggest motivators for the race!

This post was created in collaboration with Lululemon. All thoughts and opinions are my own!
