I am so excited for another post in our Wellness Wednesday series today. In case you missed it, at the beginning of this year we launched a new blog series about all things wellness – from health and fitness to skincare and relationships. Our hope with this series is to encourage + inspire y’all to seek out wellness in all areas of your life, from the tiny things to the more significant things. Today’s post is easily one of my most requested topics, so I was really excited to put it together. Today I’m sharing a full round-up of my must-have hair products. These are my ride or die can’t live without haircare items. Honestly, every single product in today’s post is something I absolutely LOVE and that has truly made a noticeable difference in the health + appearance of my hair.

Fave Shampoo + Conditioner

Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo + Oribe Gold Lust Conditioner

I have been using this Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner for years. I’ve periodically tried out other shampoos and conditioners, but truly nothing impresses me like this combo. This is part of the Gold Lust line from Oribe which is specifically targeted at repairing and restoring damaged hair. Translation: if you regularly color your hair or apply heat to it, you need this stuff in your life. It’s very gentle, restores moisture, and both prevents + repairs any breakage. Honestly no other shampoo or conditioner will transform your hair quite like this stuff.

If you are looking for quality shampoo & conditioner at a slightly more reasonable price point, I’m also a huge fan of R + CO and Davines! I will link my faves below:

Fave leave-in treatments

Oribe Royal Blowout – everytime I wash my hair, I spray this product on it before combing or blow drying. This is another that I’ve used for years because it is AMAZING. This spray is essential for a good blowout. It totally smooths out / detangles your hair, and decreases the amount of time it takes to dry your hair! It’s a thermal protection spray that repairs split ends and gives your hair body and shine. I can’t recommend this enough!

Oribe Power Drops + Oribe Heat Styling Shield – after I spray royal blowout on my hair, i mix 3ish drops of the power drops with a dime size amount of this heat styling shield. The heat styling shield does exactly that haha – protects your hair from heat! Heat from the blow dryer or curling iron or flat iron! This product is CRUCIAL if you style your hair with any form of heat! The power drops have done WONDERS for healing my hair from damage! These drops are a highly concentrated serum that provide an intense dose of essential nutrients to rebuild and restore dry or damaged hair. These drops are truly magical, and the combination of these two products have kept my hair super healthy and strong, even though I go months and months between hair trims.

Fave styling products / tools

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

This is definitely a holy grail hair product and I’m convinced everyone who tries it will immediately become addicted to it. It’s a super lightweight texturizing spray that smells AMAZING. and does’t make your hair feel sticky or crunchy. I use this to get that beauty, undone look to my waves. Whenever I’m finished curling my hair, I spray this all over – from my roots to my ends. There’s no such thing as too much IMO haha! I will seriously be using this stuff for the rest of my life.

Wet Brush

Okay it may seem silly to consider a hairbrush a ‘must-have’, but I had to include this Wet brush. Honestly I feel like the brush you use can be an overlooked part of taking care of your hair, but it really can make a huge difference! I started using this a few years ago when I had extensions, because it’s super gentle on your hair and great for detangling. This brush is hands down the best at getting out tangles and knots without damaging or ripping your hair out. It is so gentle and effective, and really good for keeping your hair strong!

T3 Curling Iron

This is a hair tool that I have been using for years, and really no other curling iron compares. First off, this iron can handle a LOT of use. The quality is incredible (hence the higher price tag), but it really does last a long time. It’s also an interchangeable barrel, so you can swap it out for other sizes (or buy the whole set here). This is a ceramic iron, meaning it’s much better for your hair plus it prevents any frizz! I’ve found that when I use this iron, my curls last so much longer. It’s also so easy to use and you really can’t mess it up! I have a full tutorial on my ‘beauty’ highlights on IG too!

If you’re looking for a good curling iron but don’t want to spend this much money on one…I just got this curling iron from Amazon and actually really like it! I can’t speak to how long it will last but it curls really well and its easy to use!

Dyson Blow Dryer Here and Here

I did a full review on my Dyson Blow Dryer in this blog post, and then I also shared more about it here, so I won’t go into too much detail. But let me just say this blow dryer 100% lives up to the hype and there is a reason why everyone is obsessed with it. It significantly cuts down the time it takes me to dry my hair (literally only takes 5 mins!), plus it leaves my hair looking SO smooth. It doesn’t damage your hair and the air flow is so controlled, you aren’t a sweaty mess by the time you finish drying. It’s super lightweight and easy to pack, too! I know it’s a splurge, but I promise you will never regret pulling the trigger on this dryer.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo

I won’t talk too much about this because I’ve talked about it a ton before (see this blog post). This is the only dry shampoo I’ve found that truly cleans your hair and gives you a totally refreshed look. It never leaves behind white residue and it also doesn’t leave your hair feeling dry as straw. I work out pretty much every day, but I only wash my hair twice a week. On the other days, this dry shampoo is my saving grace! One bottle lasts a while too, so it’s 100% worth every penny.

Living Proof Body Builder Hairspray

So I recently shared all about this hairspray in this blog post, but it definitely makes the list for my must-have hair products. I use this after styling my hair to get my curls to hold, plus it gives you the BEST volume! It’s literally magic. It has an adjustable nozzle too, so you can control how much ‘hold’ you want (I always want the maximum amount lol). I’ve never found another hairspray that delivers this much hold + volume without making your hair feel sticky or rigid. Seriously love this stuff! On a day to day basis, I usually just use the Oribe texturizing spray…but if I want to take things up a notch, I will also use this living proof spray haha. This living proof hairspray is also a good, budget-friendly alternative to the oribe dry texturizing spray!

Fave hair masks

Oribe Moisture Masque

Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask

I am equally obsessed with both of these hair masks – for deep conditioning and restoring your hair from dryness and damage! I alternate between these two masks and use them once a week!

Those are all of the products + tools that I consider to be absolutely must-haves when it comes to haircare. I know hair products might not be the very first thing that comes to mind when you think of wellness, but it really is SO important to take good care of your hair. I hope today’s post helped you know better how to do it + what products I think are legit the best! Thanks for reading! If you have any other ideas or requests for Wellness Wednesday, leave them in the comments.
