Last week on stories I asked you guys to fill in the blank to this question, and I’d answer as many of them as possible!: “What is your favorite ______?” Just as a fun way for you guys to get to know me better! I also always love learning about people’s favorite things / trying some of those things out for myself!
I picked 20 of the most commonly asked questions to answer in today’s post!
What is your favorite perfume?
For years, my go-to perfume has been chance by chanel. It’s what I wore on our wedding day and it smells so amazing. That one is kind of my ‘special occasion’ perfume now haha. In the last few years I have added this YSL perfume + this allsaints perfume to my collection and love both of those so much. The Allsaints one is really unique in that it almost smells woodsy instead of floral which I actually really like!
What is your favorite affordable flat brim hat?
Okay this is tough to say. I recently splurged on a lack of color hat for the first time and it is honestly worth every penny and more. I shared this on stories but I have a HUGE head haha and most hats are too small for my head. I love that with this one you can actually pick your size, and the quality is AMAZING. The structure is so good, fits so well and I love how it looks with all of my fall outfits.
I wish I could share a more affordable option with you guys but TBH I haven’t really found one that I LOVE! I will keep you guys posted though if I find a good one that’s more affordable! Let me know if you have an affordable one you love.
What is your favorite pair of jeans?
Gosh I don’t think I can pick one. I think Madewell is hard to beat though – incredible quality and a better price point than most designer jeans. I’ve had this pair of black skinny jeans for probably 5 years now and they’re still one of my all time favorite / go-to pairs. SO flattering and really comfortable!
What is your favorite wine?
For everyday, reasonable price point type of wine…I love Meiomi pinot noir, and in the summer months I also love Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc. For more expensive wine…I love the Prisoner red blend.
What is your favorite starbucks drink?
It’s tough to pick just one! Right now though while the weather is cooling off, I love ordering an almond milk flat white with 1 pump sugar free cinnamon dolce! I also shared my favorite iced starbucks drink in this blog post!
What is your favorite casual fall jacket?
I’ve had this Madewell jacket for years and it’s perfect for this time of year! The style is so classic so you really can wear it year after year and it’s the perfect light layer for the fall season. What is your favorite HIIT workout shoe?
I’ve actually been loving this Nike sneaker for a few months now and am tempted to buy it in a second color! First of all I love how they look. But they are also cushiony but still lightweight. I love how they feel for any workout involving jumping, weights etc! I haven’t tried running in them but they are great for everything else. Most of y’all know I also love / swear by the Adidas ultraboost. I love these because you can wear them for running and/or strength training / HIIT workouts. This is usually the shoe I wear to Orangetheory!
What is your favorite skincare product of all time?
WOW this is a good question. A few of my favorite skincare lines would be Drunk Elephant, Biologique Recherche, and Vintner’s Daughter. If I had to say ONE favorite product of all time…it would probably be the Vintner’s Daughter active treatment essence. [I did an entire blog post review on the two Vintner’s Daughter products here, if you are interested in learning more]. This product is def expensive but it can actually take the place of your toner, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c serum, exfoliator and more all in one product. It brightens, evens your skin tone, helps prevent breakouts and does SO much more. Really like a miracle for your skin in a bottle!
What is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Hands down: Italy! More specifically, the Amalfi coast. I can’t wait to go back one day.
What is your favorite thing about Michael?
Michael is the most servant-hearted, patient human I have ever met. We’ve been married 6 1/2 years now and I’m still blown away everyday at how selflessly he serves me and Shiloh every single day.
What is your favorite jewelry brand / item?
Gosh I don’t know that I could pick one. My favorite piece of jewelry is my ‘shiloh’ necklace that I started wearing right after I had her.
What is your favorite worship song?
Currently…”So Will I” by Hillsong United.
What is your favorite Bible verse?

What is your favorite lululemon shorts?
For running / orange theory type workouts…I love the tracker shorts. They are a great length, don’t ride up, and have a really flattering fit. For everyday / athleisure type shorts, I am obsessed with the stroll at sundown shorts!
What is your favorite must-have baby product?
It’s hard to remember back to Shiloh’s baby days lol (like..a year ago). But I think I would say the Ollie swaddle! I tried them all and this was hands down my favorite. We also love and still use our Nanit baby monitor!
What is your favorite healthy lunch?
I’ve actually still been getting Snap Kitchen lunches ever since Michael and I did whole30. It’s so nice to not have to stop in the middle of my work day, think about what to make, make lunch etc. These are pre-made meals delivered to your door and really healthy + yummy. Outside of snap kitchen: I love making big salads for lunch. Tuna is an easy protein to add so I’ll do a big bowl with spinach, craisins, slivered almonds, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, and then top with tuna and some Tessamae’s dressing!
What is your favorite way to relax / de-stress?
I never thought I’d say this but I actually love cooking dinner at night with Michael. [We eat dinner late. So, we put shiloh to bed around 7 and then cook dinner and eat around 8]. We usually make a cheeseboard, pour a glass of wine, and turn on one of our fave playlists. This is super relaxing to me.
Also, anything in nature – I love hiking in the mountains, putting my phone away, and just being outside in God’s creation.

What is your favorite designer purchase?
Aaahhh this is a tough one. Probably my black classic chanel bag I bought in Paris – one, for the memory-sake, and two because it’s such a beautiful, classic, timeless bag. A very close second would be my beige boy bag I bought from Julia Rose Boston.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite Christian book is probably Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst (if I HAD to pick one. Get our of your head by Jennie Allen is a close second). I’m not sure if I have a favorite fiction book!
What is your favorite lipstick?
Charlotte Tilbury is probably my favorite brand of lipsticks…the shades ‘pillow talk’ and ‘very victoria’ are two of my year-round go to’s!
