do you guys make new year’s resolutions or goals at the start of the new year? i am ALL about it. i figured most of you have some new goals you’re working towards this year as well…so i wanted to tackle a few common goals people have at the start of a new year, and help YOU take first steps towards your goals!

journaling is such a life-giving practice to have as a part of your morning routine! i love this journal because it gives you simple prompts each day so you're not just looking at blank lines. it can take 5 minutes or less so it's not intimidating and really just helps set your mind right for the day.

i started using this device to help with my meditation practice a few months ago and it has been SO helpful. if you have a goal to start meditating each day but don't know where to start, this device is SO HELPFUL! it gives you guided meditations, and also measures your HR + HRV so you can see how much 'calm' you achieved during your session haha. it also vibrates while you hold it so it helps you really stay present / in your body

every night i drink this before bed, i always sleep like a baby. this drink has bone broth collagen in it, magnesium, gaba and melatonin which are all natural supplements that promote restful sleep. if you're trying to wake up earlier + start a morning routine, getting good rest at night is crucial and this powder has REALLY helped my sleep!

i started using this alarm clock in 2020 when i made it a goal to no longer sleep with my phone by the bed and it has been a GAME CHANGER for my mental health and my sleep. you can set up a nighttime routine with this so mine is a 'reading light' for 20mins, after that it plays a guided meditation, and then the sound machine comes on after that. but you can customize it to whatever you want. and then the alarm in the morning can gently wake you up / mimic a sunrise etc. there are so many options and again, i love no longer sleeping with my phone by the bed.

i have read through this devotional probably 3 different times and still get SO much out of it every time. if you are trying to spend more time with jesus in the mornings, this devotional is so encouraging + powerful. it's dated so you have a specific reading for all 365 days of the year.

a few things that i think are 100% essential in every skincare routine:

  1. a good cleanser – i LOVE this one by revision and have been using it religiously for over two years now. it brightens your skin with vitamin c, exfoliates dead skin cells, and cleanses your skin without stripping it of its natural moisture content.
  2. exfoliator – i am obsessed with these toning pads from barefaced and use them every single morning (sometimes at night too depending on how my face is feeling). these pads help with clogged pores which in turn will help clear and prevent breakouts, brighten your skin, and help increase penetration of your other skincare products!
  3. vitamin c serum – this liquid gold from barefaced is my holy grail vitamin c serum. it provides mega antioxidant protection from UV damage, defends against premature aging of skin, while encouraging collagen production and boosting effectiveness of SPF!
  4. SPF – i use this spf from skin pharm as the last step in my morning skincare routine every single day. it also doubles as my moisturizer and gives my skin just a little bit of coverage and glow! this not only hydrates + protects your skin from the sun but also fights fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots and rough texture
  5. a good moisturizer – i love this brightening lotion from skin pharm as my everyday moisturizer in my nighttime routine. it’s lightweight but super hydrating. it also helps to brighten and smooth your skin tone!

my holy grail, never fail leggings for literally any workout. i wear these for peloton rides, running, f45 classes, pure barre, etc! they are quick drying / moisture wicking so they are perfect for super sweaty workouts. they don't slide down, don't show sweat and the quality is incredible. i've washed some of my under train leggings 50+ times and they are still in perfect condition! such a good purchase to make if you're trying to workout more this year!

my favorite running shorts! these have such a flattering fit and i think they are the perfect length. they have a built in panty liner which is key for me with running shorts. they also have a little zip pocket and they don't ride up when you're running!

if you have a goal to cook at home more this year / make more healthy recipes...i LOVE this cookbook! there are SO many yummy + healthy options in here that are so easy to make! i am not an expert chef by any means so i really value quick + simple dinners!

i love these ankle weights to elevate my yoga or pilates workouts! i also wear them sometimes if i'm just walking on the treadmill to take it up a notch! they are only 1 pound but let me tell ya, they can really make quite the difference! i've been shocked how much use i've gotten out of these!
