About a month ago, I took a poll on instagram stories asking for y’alls recommendation for the best coffee maker. I got thousands of responses from you guys and the Ninja coffee maker was by far the most common recommendation!  So I took y’alls advice and ordered one and I am OBSESSED. Previously, I used my nespresso machine every morning but I was wanting actual brewed coffee (as opposed to pods). I switch back and forth between these two machines pretty regularly (+ one other Nespresso machine that I have haha) and I get questions about it all the time on instagram. Which do I like the best? What do I use the most often? So, today I wanted to share ALL about my coffee makers and when/how I use each one of them! (And if you’re wondering…yes, I am in fact a coffee addict haha).

So, first I’ll talk about our Ninja coffee maker. There are SO many reasons why I love this machine slash think it’s the best coffee maker ever. The Ninja coffee maker can do SO many things. You can obviously brew regular coffee, but you can also make iced coffee with this, brew tea, and froth milk! [I personally love to froth almond milk with this or I’ve recently discovered nutpods and they are AMAZING. taste so good, froth really well and they are dairy free!]. Another reason I love the ninja is because you can choose the exact size of coffee you want to make – a mug, XL mug, half a carafe, etc. So Michael isn’t a huge coffee drinker, so often times I’ll just make an XL mug for myself. I love this feature! Another cool feature about this coffee maker is you can choose ‘classic’ or ‘rich’ for your brew type. As I mentioned you can also do iced coffee or cold brew!

Another reason I love this coffee maker is because it’s SUPER easy to use and to clean. It comes with a measuring spoon and tells you exactly how much coffee grinds to put in depending on how much coffee you’re making. It takes less than a minute to clean when you’re done too! You can also set up a timer on the coffee maker, to have it start brewing at a certain time in the morning! The coffee also tastes SO good and so fresh every time. It doesn’t have a built in grinder, so if you want to grind your own beans you’ll need to do that in a separate machine.

On our kitchen counter, we also have the nespresso vertuo plus machine which I LOVE and have used for about two years now. [I did an entire blog post about it here if you’re curious. So I won’t go into too much detail in this post]. As I mentioned, I alternate between the nespresso and the ninja coffee maker, depending on the day. If Shiloh is already starting to wake up, but I want my coffee real quick before I feed her, I use the nespresso. Or if I already had my morning coffee from the ninja but I kind of want a second cup around noon…then I’ll have my second coffee from the nespresso. Are two coffee makers on the same kitchen counter top totally necessary? No, probably not haha. But I do use both regularly and love both machines. The nespresso is obviously a lot quicker because the coffee is in a pod, so you just pop it in the machine and press a button! With either coffee option, I either put a little bit of almond milk in it, or the nutpod creamer, and sometimes I will froth the nutpod creamer. If you don’t really care about freshly brewed coffee and you just want something quick & easy…the nespresso is probably a great option for you and the coffee tastes great!

The last coffee machine I have and use regularly is the nespresso lattisma touch [this isn’t really a coffee maker though – it’s espresso!]. I also give all the details about this machine in this blog post so I won’t go into too much detail here. Out of my 3 coffee machines, I probably use this one the least, personally, but I still love it! [You can see in the photos we keep this upstairs on our wet bar. It doesn’t stay in the kitchen]. I just prefer coffee to espresso on a regular basis. But, I LOVE this machine because you can make the yummiest lattes or cappuccinos with the touch of a button! I put almond milk in the frother container you see on the right, and it will froth the milk, then add the espresso. It is SO yummy. I use this machine a few times a week…in the afternoons usually if I need a little pick me up! If you are an espresso lover or latte girl…you will love this machine!

Hopefully this answers all of your questions about my coffee machines! I honestly think the Ninja is the best coffee maker EVER and I can’t recommend it enough! Thanks to all of you who recommended it to me!
