Happy Friday friends! Today’s post is another “best of 2018” and I’m sharing my best health + fitness purchase from last year! If you missed it, I’ve already shared my best purchases in the categories of beauty, baby, and fashion. It’s obviously so hard to narrow down my absolutely favorite fitness buys, but everything in this post is something I LOVE and use constantly. I seriously can’t recommend these enough! Sharing some callouts and reviews below!

Y’all know leggings are pretty much my daily uniform, so it was really tough to narrow down my absolute favorite leggings. This pair definitely had to be included! I love these Outdoor Voices leggings because they’re extremely flattering and functional. The material feels incredible and the fit is perfect for any kind of workout (running, spin, HIIT, etc). They never fall down or lose their fit as you move, and they also never show sweat. The material is really breathable and lightweight, but it has a secure fit that just holds you in in the best way. I’m a huge fan of Outdoor Voices leggings in general (also love this pair!) because I feel like you really can’t beat the price, especially for this level of quality. These are leggings I wear every single week, several days a week, and they never pill or show any signs of wear. Plus all of the colors are so cute!
Okay so if I’m being honest, this was a more recent purchase but I love it so much, I had to include it! One of my favorite ways to workout is going on runs outside – you seriously can’t beat the mountain views while you run! But since it’s Colorado, you definitely have to wear the right layers during the late fall/winter. I love this jacket because it keeps warm without being crazy hot or bulky. The pockets are super handy for holding my house keys or phone, and if you run at night, it also has reflective stripes. I also wear this jacket for running errands or going on hikes. It’s the perfect warm layer and so cute! I think it fits TTS.
These shoes became a major fitness staple for me last year. In the past, it’s been hard for me to find Nikes that I love running in (at least for long-ish distances). Well, these flyknit running shoes definitely changed that. They are extremely supportive and lightweight, and just have a perfect fit. These shoes are great for running and they’re also really cute! They come in several colors and I found them to fit TTS. Regardless of your workout or even if you’re just going on a walk, these shoes feel amazing on your feet.
I’m slightly embarrassed to say I have this water bottle in several colors and multiple sizes. It’s perfect for bringing to the gym, having on my desk while I work, or bringing with us when we’re out and about. I love how sturdy the material is and that it legit keeps your water cold for hours and hours! I don’t know what it is, but I honestly think I drink more water when I’m using this thing! So that’s a huge benefit too. It’s also nice to know about how much I’m drinking each day and helps keep me motivated to drink more water. It’s been so helpful having this thing since Shiloh was born, because I have to drink tons of water while breastfeeding. I always have it with me! I can throw it in my purse/gym bag and it won’t leak, too!
I heard about these APL sneakers for a really long time before finally investing in a pair. People always talked about them like they were some sort of miracle sneaker, and I totally get it now. These APL sneakers are truly some of the most comfortable kicks I own! They are super lightweight, but still supportive enough for high-impact workouts. I wear these for running and strength training. They’re also cute enough for athleisure outfits and just running errands! They come in tons of colors and run TTS.
These are hands down the best ear buds! I wear them for running, spin classes, HIIT workouts – everything! I get asked all the time if they really stay in and if they’re really worth the price tag – and my answer to both is YES. I never have issues with them falling out or moving around, and the quality is incredible. I love it because you don’t have to deal with a cord getting in your way while you’re working out and they’re lighter and more sleek than typical headphones. The sound quality is great and I think the battery life on them is really good too. I usually charge them every day or so while I sleep. If you regularly work out or have a long commute to work, I definitely recommend getting the air pods!
I’m not exaggerating when I say I’m pretty sure I own these shorts in every color. They are hands down my favorite running shorts! I wear them several times a week and they hold up so well. It drives me nuts when shorts ride up or shift when I’m running, and these are one of the few pairs I’ve found that always stays in place. They length is just right and I seriously love all of the colors/patterns. They also have pockets (including a zipper pocket), a liner, and are under $60! When I was pregnant, I was able to go up a size and still wear these. I would say they fit TTS!
I’m kind of laughing that this stuff made the list but y’all, it’s just that good! I’ve always been a huge fan of RX bars, so when they came out with this vanilla almond butter I knew I had to try it. It seriously tastes like candy! The sweetness isn’t overwhelming, but it is so yummy. I love having it with an apple or banana, but honestly I can also just eat it by itself. It’s perfect for a pre-workout snack or just to have on my purse for on-the-go. If you aren’t an almond butter fan, you still have to give this stuff a try! It’s absolutely delicious and a really healthy snack option! There are also a few other flavors and every single one of them is good!
